Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a non-judgmental space for you to learn more about yourself and the issues that are troubling you.  While there are both benefits and possible risks, seeking help takes courage.  Whether you work with me or another professional, I'm glad you are beginning the journey.

I practice positive psychology, with a focus on cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and resilience-based therapies designed to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, intimate relationships, personal identity formation, prejudice or bullying, and academic, career or workplace difficulties. 

I will be with you throughout the process offering my support, encouragement and candid observations to help you discover new strengths. I may also ask you to work on goals outside of our therapy sessions so that newly developed skills can grow and endure.
